Kate Beier

Kate Beier enters her first season on the sidelines for the Panthers in 2017-18. She joins the coaching staff after an accomplished four-year career in the Brown and Gold. 

Beier was a four-year member of the squad, winning three Division II National Championships and four consecutive Northeast-10 Conference titles. In her career she played in 88 games, scoring 112 goals and adding 24 assists for 136 points. She was responsible for 42 caused turnovers and scooped up 78 ground balls along with winning 26 draw controls. 

In the 2017 national championship game, Beier led the team to a 6-4 victory over defending champions Florida Southern, to win the program's eighth crown. For her efforts she earned Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) First Team All-American accolades and was named to the 2017 NCAA Division II All-Tournament Team. The West Islip, N.Y. native was also named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference First Team.
