Erin Garvey begins her first year as an assistant coach for the Adelphi women's lacrosse team.
Garvey received her bachelor's degree in Psychology at Yale University in 2003. She was a member of the Yale women's lacrosse team. During her senior year, Yale's team was Ivy League co-champions.
Garvey graduated from MacArthur High School in 1999, participating in four years of lacrosse, basketball, and soccer. She earned All-County honors in lacrosse and All-Conference honors in soccer and basketball.
Garvey is currently working as a 5th grade teacher at Portledge School in Locust Valley and pursuing a Masters in Physical Education at Adelphi University.
