Caitlin Fitzpatrick is entering her first season as an assistant coach with the Adelphi University women's lacrosse program. She was a four year letterwinner for the Panthers and spent last season as an assistant coach at Bridgewater State.

Fitzpatrick, who hails from Port Washington, New York, is a 2010 graduate of Adelphi with a Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Education.

A two-time C. Markland Kelly Award winner, given to the top college women’s lacrosse goaltender in NCAA Division I, II, & III, Fitzpatrick helped the Panthers to repeat National Championships (2009 and 2010) and was the only player to repeat as an Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) First Team All-American in Division II in 2009 and 2010. The Northeast-10 Conference Goalkeeper of the Year finished her career with a 54-2 record and 487 saves at Adelphi.

In addition to her All-America honor in 2010, Fitzpatrick was named the IWLCA Division II Goalkeeper of the Year, and was chosen to play in the North-South Senior All-Star Game.  She was also a two-time NCAA Division II All-Tournament selection (2009, 2010).
