Katelyn LaRocca is in her second season as an assistant coach with the Adelphi University women's bowling program.

In 2018-19, LaRocca helped guide the Panthers to an impressive 68-46 record (.596 winning percentage), in addition to an appearance in the finals of the consolation bracket at the East Coast Conference Championships.

LaRocca, a 2018 graduate of Adelphi, spent two seasons (2016-18) as a student-athlete with the AU women's bowling team, after transferring from NCAA Division I Fairleigh Dickinson University.

She was twice named to the All-ECC Second Team and earned Most Outstanding Bowler accolades at the ECC Tournament in 2017 -- a season in which the Panthers swept through the double-elimination championship.

In her final year at AU, LaRocca ranked second in the ECC in traditional frame average (19.985), seventh in overall scoring average and 12th in Baker frame average. She was also recognized to the All-Tournament teams at the SHU Bowl for the Cure, FDU New Jersey Jamboree and Molloy Invitational.

Originally from Islip, N.Y., LaRocca graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business Management.
