Tracy Abromavage begins her second year as an assistant for the Panthers. She reunited with Coach Watts last season for the first time since she was a student-athlete at Hofstra University. Her main duties will revolve around working with the post players, camps, clinics and fundraising.

A 1999 graduate from Hofstra University, she earned a bachelor of business administration with a concentration in management. A four-year starter and two-year team captain (1997-99), Abromavage was named the team's Most Valuable Player in 1999.

Her previous coaching experience includes assistant basketball coach/recruiter for the University of South Carolina-Aiken women's basketball team where she was involved in all aspects of coaching strategy and administration. During her stint at USC, the team captured its first division title in 2000 with a 22-7 overall record. Abromavage also served as head cross country coach at South Carolina during that same period. Prior to that, she spent a year as assistant women's coach/recruiter at Augusta State University (1999-2000)where her primary responsibilities include academics, study hall and working with the post players.

A resident of East Meadow N.Y., Abromavage is currently employed by the Darby Dental Supply Company.
