Sade Jackson

Sade Jackson ('14) enters her second season as an assistant coach for the Adelphi University women's basketball team after donning the Brown and Gold for four years.

As a player, Jackson played in 110 games and scored 1,192 points over the course of her career as one of 21 players in the program's 1,000 point club. The team's starting point guard for much of her career, Jackson graduated as the program's all-time leader in assists with 673, and was crowned the NCAA statistical champion in assists per game (7.3) in the 2012-13 and 2013-14 (8.1) seasons. She ranks second all-time in steals (249) and fifth in blocks (82), while also sitting in the top 10 in the program's career records in field goals, games played, three-point field goals attempted and free throws made. A two-time NE-10 All-Conference player, Jackson helped lead the program to its first Northeast-10 Conference postseason berth in 2012-13, and the NE-10 Championship game in 2013-14, when she was selected to the All-Tournament team and All-Met First Team.

After graduating from Adelphi, Jackson spent one year playing professional basketball in Germany, with Eintracht Braunschwieg of the Damen Basketball Bundesliga.
