Melanie O’Brien is entering her first season as an assistant coach for the Brown and Gold. She joins the staff after completing her undergrad in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Health.

Her responsibilities include community relations and game day promotions.

O’Brien transferred from Nassau County Community College and was a two-year member of the women’s basketball program. In total, she played in 44 games scoring 69 points and grabbing 69 rebounds.
