Jenna Halaby joins the coaching staff for the Adelphi University women's basketball team in 2015-16 after a four-year playing career for the Brown and Gold.
Over the course of her career, Halaby scored 754 points in 116 games played for the Panthers, playing the second-most career games of any player in Adelphi history behind former teammate Kelly Mannix (117). Halaby was an integral part in the Panthers' rise to the top of the Northeast-10 Conference, helping the team to its first-ever NE-10 postseason appearance in 2012-13, two Southwest Division regular season titles (2013-14, 2014-15) and the program's first-ever NE-10 Championship (2014-15).Â
A native of Maspeth, N.Y., Halaby graduated from Adelphi in May of 2015 with a degree in nursing.
