Christina Buckley begins her second season as an assistant coach for the Adelphi University women's basketball team. Her primary duties include working with the point guards as well as facilitating equipment, team travel, recruiting, and study hall.
Prior to arriving at Adelphi, Buckley spent two years at CBS Sports. There she served in various capacities, incluing Broadcast Operations Coordinator, Graphics BA and a researcher responsible for preparting and editing on-air stats for the NFL and NCAA. She was also responsible for hiring, scheduling, and payroll of freelance production employees.
Her most recent coaching experience includes working with the Long Island Lightning AAU and numerous college basketball camps.
Buckley attended Saint Anslem College, graduating in 2007 with a business degree. She was also a letterwinner on the women's basketball team. Her senior year she led the team in assists and ranked third in scoring and was named team MVP.
A native of Levittown, New York, she attended Division Avenue High School.
