Alexa Long is entering her first season as an assistant coach for the Panthers. She joins the staff after completing her undergrad in May 2014 at Saint Michael’s College with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology.
Her responsibilities include working with the post position players as well as oversee academic success for the team.
While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Long was a four year member (2010-2014) of the Purple Knights basketball team, of which she was named co-captain in her senior season. In her career she appeared in 96 games and scored 734 points with 606 rebounds and 68 blocks. She was an All-Northeast-10 Honorable Mention in 2014 and earned the Women’s Basketball Coaches Excellence Award as a senior.Â
