2008-09: Was part of the DMR relay at the indoor CTC championships (2/14) that placed second...ran a personal best in the 800 at the NYC Qualifying Challenge (5/2) with a time of 1:59.39.
At Valley Stream North: A four-time varsity letter winner in cross-country and outdoor track...Class A county champion of class A in the 1600 meter run as a junior and a senior... also named county champion in the 800 meter event and became New York state qualifier in the 4 x 800 meter relay senior year.
Personal: Son of Desmond and Orla Carey... has two brothers Gren and Rory... major is currently undecided.
