2007-08: Set season bests in the 400 meter dash with a time of 52.83 at the NYU Fastrack (2/29) and in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.85 at the Great Dane Classic (1/25)...helped his 4x400 meter relay team finish 4th at the Monmouth Season Opener with a time of 3:26.14 (3/29).

2006-07: Part of the 4x400 meter relay team at PENN that recorded the season[apos]s fastest time of 3:21.56 (4/27).

2005-06: Recorded two top-10 finishes...finished eighth in the 100-meters (12.19) at the Disney Relays.

2004-05: Recorded two top-five[apos]s and three top-10[apos]s...placed fifth in the 200 meter dash at the Kings Point Invitational (24.7) and fifth in the 300 meter dash at the Kutztown Invitational (38.91).

At Holy Trinity High School: Four-year member of the varsity indoor and outdoor track teams...two-time indoor track MVP...named MVP of outdoor track team sophomore year...received coach[apos]s award senior year...member of nationally ranked 4x800 meter relay team as a senior...scholar-athlete award winner...received principal[apos]s award and president[apos]s award for academic excellence...member of Math and National Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Gerald and Kathleen Murphy...plans on majoring in business and pre-law...enjoys fishing, running and biking in free time...has a twin sister Meghan who is also a member of the Adelphi track team.
