Honors and Awards: NCAA Qualifier indoors at the 60m dash and outdoors in the 100m...three-time All-Conference...CTC Champ and runner up at the Indoor CTC Championships in the 55 and 200 meter dashes respectively (2009).

2008-09: Placed first at the indoor CTC Championships in the 55m dash with a time of 6.47...ran a career best in the 60m dash with a time of 6.80 at the NYU Fastrack meet (2/27), good enough to rank 11th in division II and earned him a trip to the national meet...placed second indoors at the CTC championships in the 200m dash with a time of 22.75...ran a personal best in the 200 at the UPenn meet with a time of 21.84 which was good enough for first...ran 10.63 in the 100m to earn a provisional qualifying mark in the event...part of the 4x200 relay team that placed third at the indoor CTC championships.

At C.W. Post: Placed 9th at the Indoor NCAA Nationals in the 60 meter dash.

At Deer Park High School: Lettered three years in indoor and outdoor track, while also picking up two letters in cross country...MVP and team captain all three years for both indoor and outdoor track...senior year placed second at the New York state meet in the triple jump and sixth in the 55 meter dash...senior year at nationals placed 15th in the 60 meters and 8th in the triple jump...outdoor states placed 9th in the 100m and 12th in the triple jump senior years...earned All-county honors in the 55m, 100m, and triple jump.

Personal: Son of Samuel and Carolyn Durant...has three siblings, Samuel III, LaDawn and Jasmine...enjoys music, cars and lifting wieghts...majoring in business management.
