2012-13; Competed in two meets indoor and five outdoor...achieved a mark of 8.29m in the weight throw indoors at the NE-10 Championships (2/16)...outdoors, threw the shot for a best distance of 10.74m at the Richard Stockton Invitational (3/23)...posted top marks of 16.07m in the hammer and 33.83m in the javelin at the Outdoor NE-10 Championships (5/4).

At Hewlett: Played three years of football and four years of lacrosse...earned the Coaches Award his sophomore year.

Personal: Son of Edward and Mary Papa...has one sister, Nicolette...majoring in exercise science...hobbies include hanging out with friends and working out...future career plans include becoming a strength and conditioning coach.
