Adelphi University Athletics

Kyria Moore enters her second season on the Adelphi track and field staff in 2024-25. She joined the squad following a successful one-year stint with the Panthers after competing at nearby Division I Stony Brook for four seasons. 

Moore, a standout in the weight throw, hammer and shotput, will mainly focus on the throws group while assisting in logistics and recruiting for the program. 

After competing for one season in an Adelphi uniform she will graduate with her master's of Education in Early Childhood Education/Special Education in May 2025. 

Kyria's Athletic Accomplishments as an athlete:
- Four-year career at NCAA Division I Stony Brook
- Graduate transfer to NCAA Division II Adelphi University
- 2023 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field - 2nd Place Weight Throw
- 2023 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field - 10th Place Hammer
- 2023 NE10 Indoor Track and Field - Weight Throw Champion
- 2023 NE10 Outdoor Track and Field - Hammer and Shotput Champion
- 2023 NE10 Outdoor Track and Field - Most Outstanding Field Performer
- 2023 USTFCCCA All-Region (Indoor and Outdoor)
- Winner of Women’s Open Weight Throw event at prestigious 2024 Millrose Games
