Honors and Awards: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Spring '15).
2013-14: Competed in five meets during the season... took sixth at the USMMA Invitational (11/23) in the 100 yard breaststroke and 5th in the 200 yard breaststroke... competed at the ECAC Winter Championships (12/7-8) and stopped the clock at 2:42.69 in the 200 yard breaststroke for a new best... took second when Adelphi took on Paterson in the 100 yard breaststroke with a new personal best of 1:14.69 ... set a personal best of 1:14.9 at the Northeast-10 Championships (2/7-9) in the 100 yard breaststroke.
At John F. Kennedy: Member of the National Honor Society and National Spanish Honors Society... belonged to the Athletes Helping Athletes Club.
Personal: Daughter of Lisa and Joseph Vanella... birthday is November 1st... majoring in nursing... is an ocean lifeguard at Town of Hempstead.
