Biography
2005-06: Amassed 24 first place finishes in dual meet competition...competed in seven events at the Metropolitan Championships, finishing in the top ten in all events...placed fifth in the 100 yard backstroke and ninth in the 200 yard backstroke at the ECAC championship...reached the NCAA "B" standard for the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 59.98.
2004-05: 22 first place finishes in dual meet competition...Top 10 finisher in the 200 freestyle relay, 400 medley relay, 200 medley relay, 400 freestyle relay, finished 2nd in the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke at METS...Qualified for ECAC's in the 200 freestyle relay finishing 13th, and the 100 backstroke finishing 9th.
Before Adelphi: Swam the backstroke in high school...team captain...state qualifier...regional winner.
Personal: Daughter of Walter and Song Lester, who are currently residing in Taegu, Korea...Majoring psychology and criminal justice...hates getting wet.
