Adelphi University Athletics

Kiersten Comer enters her first season in 2023 under head coach Carla Campagna and joins Lou Vanacore as the other assistant coach. 

Comer played softball at Wilmington University from 2018-22. She had a career batting average of .280 and a fielding percentage of .989 during her time playing. Her accolades include being a 2019 CACC Tournament Champion, named to the 2022 CACC All-Tournament Team, and a 2022 NCAA Division II East Super Region Championship participant.

During her time at Wilmington, she was recognized as the Vice President of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council. She was also a two-time CACC Softball All-Academic member and a representative of the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society.

“We are excited to welcome Kiersten to the Adelphi softball community. Kiersten comes from one of the top Division II schools in our region and has been guided by an outstanding coach and program. Kiersten's eager and passionate about starting with the program and already hit the ground running,” Campagna mentioned.

Comer graduated from Wilmington with a bachelor's degree in Psychology.
