Kelley Jansen enters her first season on head coach Carla Campagna's staff with the Adelphi softball team in 2019.
Jansen, the 2012 ECC Pitcher of the Year at Molloy College, compiled an 87-31 record in her career with the Lions. As a player, she appeared in the Division II College World Series twice, and was selected to the All-ECC, Daktronics and NFCA All-East Region First Teams, and Daktronics All-America Honorable Mention Team in her junior season.
Over 750.0 career innings, Jansen logged an ERA of 1.95, good enough for fourth in the history of Molloy softball, and holds the school record with 1,048 career strikeouts.
Her previous coaching experience includes seasons with John F. Kennedy High School and South Side High School in Bellmore and Rockville Centre, N.Y., and she also worked as the pitching coach at Molloy for three seasons, helping the Lions reach the Division II College World Series in 2017.
Jansen is a native of Long Beach, N.Y., and earned a degree in childhood education from Molloy.
