In 2007, Amy Delmore made the transition from player to coach, helping the team to a school best 39-19 Division II record. She returns for her second season with the Panther coaching staff.
A four year letter winner and second baseman at Adelphi, Delmore was selected as a NFCA second-team All-American in 2005 after being named the East Coast Conference Player of the Year, an ECAC All-Star and a NFCA First-team All-Northeast Region selection.
In 2006, she helped Adelphi to a NCAA Regional appearance and was named to the NCAA DII Regional Tournament- All-Tournament Team and a second -team All-Northeast Region pick.
Delmore also earned second team all-conference honors in 2004 and third-team in 2006. She is ranked in the top ten in several Adelphi single season and career records.
She graduated with a physical education degree in May 2006 and is currently pursing a master's
Delmore is a graduate of St. Mary's High School were she lettered in softball, soccer and basketball. She resides in Bellerose Manor.
