Biography

Coach Smith says, "Bailey has stepped her game up on both sides of the plate. She is becoming a triple-threat lefty with surprising foot speed and great base-running instincts. Bailey is a natural leader with the ability to make everyone around her better."

Honors & Awards: NFCA Scholar-Athlete (2006, 2005)

2008: Appeared in 37 games starting nine...collected three hits, drove in three runs and scored 14.

2007: Made 11 starts in 313 games played...hit .250 with three doubles and seven runs batted in.

2006: Appeared in 26 games, making five starts...posted a .174 batting average and had seven runs batted in.

2005: Made one start in 15 appearances...had three RBI in nine at-bats and two hits.

At Calhoun High School: Played varsity soccer and softball as a junior and senior...in softball, a two-time all-conference selection...named team MVP as a senior...a member of the National Honor Society, the National French honor society and the National Art Honor Society...NYS Physical Education Award...a member of the Outdoors Club and Athletes Helping Athletes.

Personal: Daughter of Mark and Joan Lawrence...born March 21, 1986...has one sister, Chelsea...a Physical Education and Health major.
