Michael Rodriguez

Michael Rodriguez is an assistant coach in his third year with the women's soccer program and brings over six years of coaching experience as well as well as high school, collegiate, national and professional experience with him.

A Bay Shore High School product, he was an All-State and All-American in 1993 and also played for the US U-17 National Team where he was a CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying gold medla member. Two years later, he represented the US in the U-20 National pool. His collegiate career includes four years for Old Dominion University where he earned All-CAA honors and was named the team captain before heading off to play with the Jacksonvill Cyclones in the A-League for two years.

His coaching experience began as the Director of Coaching at Empire State Soccer Academy. he then picked up as an assistant coach for the Long Island Rough Riders and Dowling College women's soccer team. Currently, he holds a assistant coach positions for the Columbia University men's soccer team abd Albertson Soccer Club USSF, and is the Rye Soccer Club Director of Goal Keeping.
