Jordan Russolillo is in his fourth season overall as an assistant with Adelphi University -- 2015 will be his first with the men's soccer program after spending the last three years with the women's team.
During the 2013 season, Russolillo helped guide the women's program to the NCAA Touranment behind a 14-3-4 record. Last season, the team matched the number of wins and earned the right to host the ECAC Championship.
During his collegiate career with the Southern Connecticut State Owls men’s soccer program, Russolillo was recognized as an All-American player by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) for three consecutive seasons –an honor only one other player has ever received in University history. He was also selected as the 2005 Northeast-10 Conference Defensive Player of the Year as well as the Connecticut Collegiate Player of the Year in 2006.
After his time in New Haven, Russolillo was drafted by the Chicago Fire in the 2006 MLS Super Draft. Out of the 150 players invited to the MLS Combine, Russolillo was one of only four Division II players invited. He spent three seasons with the Fire before a career-ending hip injury.
His extensive coaching portfolio includes seasons with the Middletown Magic (CT), Garden City Centennials (NY), Chicago Kickers, FC Drive (IL), Connecticut ODP, Oakwood Soccer Club (CT), Monroe Soccer Club (CT) and Woodbridge Travel (CT).
