Vazquez also earned his master’s degree in Physical Education from Adelphi, with a specialization in Sports-Based Youth Development. He currently holds a UEFA B License, both the National Youth Coaching Diploma and Director of Coaching Diploma from United Soccer Coaches, and is currently working towards his USSF B License

Since graduating, Vazquez has built an extensive background in both education and coaching. He spent several years at The Knox School, beginning as a teacher and head varsity soccer coach before being promoted to Athletic Director in November 2022. That same year, he guided the Knox boys’ soccer program to an undefeated season and a PSAA Championship.

In addition to his collegiate role at Adelphi, Vazquez is currently the Director of Operations as well as coach with Long Island Soccer Club and has previously held coaching positions with SUSA Academy. 

A native of Brentwood, N.Y., Vazquez brings a strong commitment to player development, education, and the holistic growth of student-athletes.
