While she pursues her master's degree in Education, Bridget Patch will also help mentor the Panthers from the sidelines.

Patch recently wrapped up a four-year collegiate playing career at Virginia Tech.

Patch appeared in 65 career games for the Hokies from 2016-19 and tallied a goal in each season, including the game-winner against No. 17 Texas in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in 2018.

The Hokies had four winning seasons, along with two NCAA Championship appearances, in Patch's time in Blacksburg.

Originally from Long Island, Patch was a four-year letterwinner at St. John the Baptist High School and earned All-Long Island honors three times. She led her team to back-to-back league and state championship titles in 2013 and 2014.
