Adam Pullinen has been named the assistant men's soccer coach as announced on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 by head men's soccer coach Carlo Acquista. The former Adelphi standout will have responsibilities in recruiting and practice management.
Pullinen was a member of the Adelphi men's soccer program from 1998-2001, and was a member of the first Panther team to play in a conference in 20 years. He has also aquired game knowledge as a member of the Westchester Flames, formerly of the United Soccer Leagues second division, the Vermont Voltage, the New York Salamina and Olympia Stamford.
Formerly an assistant coach at Columbia University in 2009, Pullinen has also added to his pedigree with stints as an assistant coach with the Westchester Flames and as head coach of the New York Salamina. He has also gained additional experience as a NY Premier Academy Youth Trainer, a youth coach with the Donahue Soccer Academy and a LIJSL Select Team Evaluator.
Pullinen graduated from Adelphi in the spring of 2002, earning a bachelors of science with honors.
