2010: Appeared in seven games with three starts...logged 169:02 minutes in net...collected 27 saves with a .474 save percentage...had a 1-2 record on the season...posted a season-high 11 saves against Dowling (3/13)...collected three ground balls against Dominican University (3/11).

2009: Played in 11 games, starting in 10... guarded the cage 565.35 minutes facing 349 shots with 120 saves for a 53.8% save percentage... also picked up 22 ground balls for an average of 2 ground balls per game placing him fourth on the team in total ground balls... made the most amount of saves (20) against C.W. Post (4/11)... picked up the most of five ground balls in one game against Bentley University (3/14).

At Herkimer County Community College: Played two seasons in net...was a first team All-American selection.

At Shoreham-Wading River High School: Won four consecutive county championships....All-Division as a sophomore...All-County during his junior and senior years.

Personal: Son of David and Kathy Bates...has two brothers, Sean and Dylan and one sister, Sara...currently majoring in physical education...enjoys skiing in Vermont and going to the beach on Long Island.
