Biography

2006: Started in all 13 games played...led the team with 32 assists and was second in goals (24) and points (56)...picked up 21 ground balls...scored his first goal and picked up his first assist in an Adelphi uniform in a 14-6 victory over Notre Dame de Namur (2/26). At The University of Massachusetts: Participated in two-years of men[apos]s lacrosse...appeared in the national quarterfinals in 2005.

At Comsewogue High School: Played four-years of varsity lacrosse...two-time all-league and all-county selection...MVP of Long Island championship game as a junior...member of Empire State lacrosse team and state championship team junior year...captain, all long-island and All-American as a senior...member of the honor roll...plays box lacrosse with Jr. A Calgary Raiders of the Alberta Lacrosse Association during the summer.

Personal: Son of Michael and Susan Gongas...majoring in physical education...has one sister, Ashley...enjoys playing playstation and coaching lacrosse.
