Honors and Awards: USILA Second-Team All-American, NE-10 All-Tournament Team, NE-10 First-Team All-Conference, North-South All-Star Game (2013)… NE-10 First-Team All-Conference, USILA Second-Team All-American, ECAC All-Star (2012)…NE-10 All-Rookie Team (2010).

2013: Started all 17 games at defense…led the team with 29 caused turnovers and also picked up 37 ground balls…ranked 16th in the country in caused turnovers per game...helped the Panther defense to a fourth place ranking in Division II in scoring defense, allowing just 7.47 goals per game.

2012: Started and played in all 16 games at defense...scooped up 36 ground balls and led the team in caused turnovers with 16.

2011: Played in all 19 games with 16 starts...scored one goal and handed out two assists...finished fourth on the team with 51 ground balls...had an assist in the NE-10 Championship game against Merrimack (5/8)...picked up a season-high six ground balls two times (4/2, 4/9).

2010: Started and played in all 15 games...recorded four assists on the season...collected 48 ground balls...made his collegiate debut against Dominican (CA) (3/11)...had two two-assist games (4/7 and 5/4)...picked up a season-best seven ground balls against St. Anselm in the NE-10 Quarterfinals (5/4).

At Wantagh High School:Three year member of the varsity lacrosse team...two-time all-county selection and an All-American finalist as senior...participated in the exceptional senior game...earned academic all-conference honors in his final season.

Personal: Son of Jeff and Julie Melsopp...has one sister, Jaclyn...majoring in physical education.
