Daniel Gill returns for another season on the men's lacrosse staff in 2023.
Gill, a 2011 graduate and two-year member of the Panthers, has spent the last six seasons on the sidelines with the Massapequa Boys' Varsity lacrosse program, assisting the defense and running the box. In that span, he has seen three County Championships (2017, 2018, 2019), as well as a Long Island Championship and Class A NYS title in 2019.
In his two seasons with the Brown and Gold, Gill earned USILA Second-Team All-American accolades and was a two-time NE10 All-Conference honoree, while also earning All-Tournament team honors in 2011. He helped lead Adelphi to its first national championship appearance since 2001, leading the defensemen with four points and team-best 100 ground balls.
Prior to Adelphi he played one season at both Nassau Community College and Hartwick College.
Gill received a Bachelors in Physical Education and Masters in Health Education both from Adelphi. He currently resides in Massapequa with his wife Jessica and daughter, Emmie.
