Honors and Awards: All- East Coast Conference Second Team (2009)
2009: Played in 11 games, getting the start in 10... ranked first among his teammates and fourth in the nation in ground balls with a season total of 97, averaging 8.82 ground balls per game... also led the team and placed second in the nation in faceoff percentage winning 154 faceoffs for a 66.4 percentage ... also added to the season with nine goals and two assists...had a high of 14 groundballs on two occasions against Molloy College (4/4) and against RIT (2/27); highest number of ground balls in one game when compared to his teammates.
2008: Did not play.
2007: Saw time in ten games...scored four goals and tallied two assists...picked up 18 ground balls.
2006: Set career-highs in every major category while appearing in 13 games and making three starts...fifth on the team in goals with nine and seventh in points with 10...also added one assist...second on the team in ground balls with 46...posted the best face-off percentage on the team, winning 64.2 percent of his attempts (70-109). 2005: Saw time in five games...scored his first collegiate goal in a 10-9 win over NYIT...finished the season with one point and three ground balls.
At Oceanside High School: Played four-years of varsity lacrosse...two-time offensive team MVP...all-conference selection junior year...received all-county honors in 2004.
Personal: Son of Hymie and Debbie Ashkenazy...major is Business...has one brother, Scott and one sister, Lauren... enjoys playing sports and hanging out with friends in free time.
