Biography

2004: Appeared in 38 games, making 29 starts...hit .286 with 36 hits, 21 RBI and a team-high nine doubles...led the team in put outs with a total of 227 and recorded a fielding percentage of .992. 2003: Hit .213 while appearing in 23 games...drove in six runs and made 90 put-outs at first base.

2002: Appeared in 26 games, starting in six. Batted .297 with 6 RBI and 4 doubles in 37 plate appearances. DeWitt had an impressive .983 fielding percentage only making one error. DeWitt got his first collegiate hit against Mercyhurst (PA) (3/1).

At Mepham: Letter winner in baseball, football and basketball...captained baseball team his senior year...all-division performer in baseball...mathematics major...perfect attendance in HS.

Personal: Son of Clement and Rhonda DeWitt...born November 25, 1983...has one sister...a physical education major...other interests include weightlifting and attending church...favorite team is NY Yankees...favorite athletes are Joe Girardi and Chad Curtis...future Plans include playing professional baseball, become a physical education teacher, or become a police officer...also wants to pursue a career in the entertainment business.
