Sean Lawless enters his first year on the Adelphi University men’s basketball coaching staff after spending five years with the Fordham University men’s basketball team.
Lawless spent four years on the Fordham men’s basketball team as a Student Manager followed by one year as a Graduate Manager. His responsibilities included assisting the program’s video coordinator with film exchange and scouting videos, assisting with the recruiting process, supervising other student managers, game day tasks, and creating a team newsletter that was distributed to alumni and fans.
Most recently, Lawless co-founded Group Stats, an analytics provider for college basketball teams. He founded the company as college basketball’s only lineup efficiency provider.
Lawless graduated from Fordham with a degree in accounting in May 2013. In addition to his time at Fordham, Lawless has worked camps at multiple Hoop Group Jam Fests and Rumble in the Bronx.
