Justin Forest will now mentor his former teammates as an assistant coach, after playing four years for the Adelphi men's basketball team from 2019-23.
Aligned in the backcourt with all-time leading scorer Ronnie Silva, Forest played in 40 career games for the 'Cats.
Forest made his only career start as a senior against Jefferson University, and saw double-digit minutes off the bench in five other games that season.
He also helped to develop the culture that qualified the Panthers for the NE10 Championship in each season he suited up in the Brown and Gold.
Forest originally hails from Queens Village, N.Y.
