Joe DeLutri

Joe DeLutri is in his second season as an assistant coach with the men's basketball team.

DeLutri's responsibilities include coordinating game schedule, team travel, facilities, game film management and exchange, on and off campus recruiting, and oversees student-athlete academic performance. He also serves as the assistant director of the Nike Basketball Camp at Adelphi University.

In his first season on staff at Adelphi, the Panthers finished 21-9, 16-6 in Northeast-10 action, captured the Northeast-10 Regular Season Championship in 2011-12, and earned a berth to the NCAA tournament appearance.

DeLutri joined the Panther staff after serving as an undergraduate student manager for the SUNY Cortland men's basketball program under Head Coach Tom Spanbauer. During his time there he was responsible for equipment and practice preparations, keeping statistical information during practices, recording game film, and serving as the official game book.

Throughout his experience in basketball DeLutri has worked and volunteered at numerous camps and clinics around Long Island including the Tom Pecora Basketball Camp, Plainedge Basketball Camp, Gus Alfieri's All-American Camp, and Mo Cassara's Boys Basketball Camp at Hofstra University.
 
In 2011, during his student teaching at Carey High School, DeLutri volunteered his time helping the varsity and junior varsity basketball teams.
 
DeLutri graduated from SUNY Cortland in 2011 with a bachelors degree in physical education and is currently working toward a masters degree from Adelphi University in health education. He currently resides in Massapequa, New York.
