Eric Schwager enters his second season on the Panther's staff, bringing a wealth of basketball knowledge, spanning three Division I schools to the program. In his past coaching experiences, Schwager has been responsible for not only on the court coaching, but also scouting reports, and team academic advisement.
Schwager comes to Adelphi from Hartwick College under Paul Culpo. An assistant coach at Hartwick, Schwager helped facilitate daily practices, while also managing individual player-skill development. Prior to Hartwick he spent time down south at Central Florida Community College, and under Tom Herrion at the College of Charleston, Eric Schwager was also an assistant coach at Stony Brook University, during the 2004-05 season.
Schwager is a 2004 graduate of the University of Massachusetts, where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Sports Management. Eric is currently pursuing a Masters in Sports Management, and resides in Kings Park, NY.
