Chris Diasparra

Chris Diasparra is entering his second season as an assistant coach with the Adelphi University men's basketball program.

Diasparra makes the transition to the bench after three years wearing the Panther uniform. In his time in the Brown and Gold, Diasparra helped Adelphi to 20 or more wins in each of his three seasons and appearances in the East Coast Conference and Northeast-10 Tournament Championship Games. In addition, Diasparra totaled over 500 points and 300 rebounds over three seasons and posted a free throw precentage of 90.7 percent.

Prior to Adelphi he spent two seasons at The Citadel where he played in 60 games over the course of two seasons. A 2004 graduate of Mahopac High School, Diasparra is the school's all-time leading scorer with over 1,400 career points and was named Madison Square Garden Tri-State Player of The Year as a senior. In addition, he was rated as one of the top-50 players in New York by insiderhoops.com.
