Adelphi University Athletics

Rory Grady is entering his second year as a graduate assistant in the Athletic Training Department. His primary sport is men[apos]s basketball, but he also assists with other programs as needed. A 2009 graduate of Lasell College, Grady earned a bachelor of science degree with a concentration in athletic training. During his time at Lasell Grady worked with the women[apos]s soccer, field hockey men and women[apos]s basketball teams and the men[apos]s lacrosse team. He also gained experience at the high school level working at St. Sebastian[apos]s High School. Grady also collected hands on training working with the Boston College football program and the Brandeis University soccer and fencing programs as well as the women[apos]s basketball and tennis teams. In addition, he spent two months at the Newton-Wellesley Urgent Care Clinic learning from doctors and nurses. Currently pursuing his masters at Adelphi Univesity, Grady holds American Red Cross certifications in CPR/AED and first aid and is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association.
