Claire Agrusa Iglesias

Claire Agrusa Iglesias is entering her fourth season as an assistant coach with the Panthers' field hockey program. Her responsibilities include working with the defense along with player development.

Agrusa Iglesias played field hockey at the University of Connecticut where she earned Northeast Regional Honors as an outstanding defensive player.

Prior to UCONN, she attended Carle Place High School where she was a four-year varsity field hockey and lacrosse starter. A Hall of Fame inductee, Agrusa Iglesias was an All-American in both field hockey and lacrosse, and was a three-time New York State Champion in field hockey.

Agrusa Iglesias has coached field hockey at C.W. Post, where she earned her Masters Degree in Elementary Education, and field hockey at Carle Place High School.

An avid marathon runner, Agrusa Iglesias currently resides in Carle Place and works as a Special Education Teacher at Floral Park Memorial High School.
