Briana Rubenstein enters her first season as an assistant coach for the Adelphi University field hockey team after having one of the most decorated careers in the history of the program.
A four-year member of the field hockey team from 2011-14, Rubenstein was a leader on the Adelphi back line. As a senior, she led the nation in defensive saves with 15, finishing as the program's all-time leader in defensive saves and career games played. In her senior season, Rubenstein was named and ECAC First Team All-Star and landed on the Northeast-10 All-Conference Second Team while being selected to represent the North side in the annual senior All-Star game, and Team USA at the Maccabi Games in Germany.Â
