2011: Competed in three races on the year...earned a 58th place finish at the Trinity Invitational (9/10) and ran a season best at the Northeast-10 Championships (10/22) with a time of 22:09 over 5k.
2010: Competed in all seven meets on the year and earned a pair of top-30 finishes including a 25th place finish at the ESU Meet (10/23) where she set a personal best over 5k with a mark of 21:22...placed 96th at the conference meet (11/7) and then went on to place 117th at the Regional Championship (11/21).
2009: Competed in four of six races for the Panthers...ran a season best 22:49 at the Northeast-10 Championship meet.
2008: Ran in four races...set a personal best at the Albany Invitational (10/18)with a time of 21:33...placed 27th at the ECC Championships.
At Sachem East High School: Participated in two years of varsity cross-country and three years of varsity track...scholar athlete all four years...named Most Improved and All-League as a junior...earned MVP and All-League as a senior...team captain in cross country and track senior year...named to the Honor Roll, received Principal Awards in English, Spanish, Chemistry, Health, Physical Education, Psychology and earned the Presidential Award in Career and Financial Management...member of Foreign Language Honor Society...member of National Honor Society...member of the Book club, Science Club and Science Olympiads
Personal: Daughter of Walter and Christine Meyer...majoring in math education...has one older sister, Donna, and twin sister, Kristen also on the cross-country and track team...enjoys reading and running in free time.
