Honors and Awards: USTFCCCA Division II All-Academic honors (2010), Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar (2008).

2010: Placed in the top-50 in five out of the seven races he competed in...notched his highest finish at the Hofstra meet (9/11) with a time of 27:37 for 13th place overall...ran a personal best over 8k at the NE-10 Conference Championship (11/7) stopping the clock at 26:47...placed 33rd at the NCAA Division II East Regional (11/21) covering the 10k course in a personal best of 32:51.

2009: Competed in five of six meets for Adelphi...placed 71st at the Northeast-10 Conference meet in a time of 28:00.

2008: Participated in six meets...placed 13th at the Hofstra Invitational and set a personal best at the Paul Short meet (10/3) with a time of 27:11.

2007: Competed in five meets for the panthers...was the first division II finisher at the Hofstra Invitational clocking in at 28:08.

Long Island City High School: Three year member of the baseball team, two year member of the cross-country team...participated in one year of swimming...two-time cross-country MVP...earned the Salvatore Saraceno scholarship, the Sgt. Kenny Stamper Memorial award, the public advocate academic achievement award...member of the National Honor Society, aspira leadership organization, junior statesmen of America, law team and the West side Runners running club...also earned the Chancellor[apos]s roll of honor for sports.

Personal: Son of Nora Perez...has a twin brother, Kevin...majoring in business...enjoys working out, eating and playing video games in free time.
