2005: Adelphi's top runner in five of six meets, including four top-10 finishes...placed fourth at the NYCAC Championship meet in a time of 26:55...set a personal best over 8K of 25:44 at the Tidewater Fall Classic...placed second overall at the St. Rose Invitational (26:40).
At SUNY Cobleskill: Two-time NJCAA Division III cross-country All-American...finished 5th at the NJCAA cross-country national meet...two-time all-region and all-conference selection...earned an associates degree in physical education.
At Amsterdam High School: Four-year participant in the New York State meet and the Foot Locker Northeast regional...three-year participant in the New York State Federation meet.
Personal: Son of Carlos Borrero and Raquer Perez...plans on majoring in physical education...has two brothers, Hector and Ruben and two sisters, Raquel and Gretchell
