Just recently wrapping up a four-year career with the Panthers, Rachel Tucci now joins Katie Rees' cross country staff as an assistant coach in 2023.

Tucci ran the best races of her collegiate career as a senior in 2022, setting PRs in both the 5k and 6k.

Tucci's 23:29.9 in the 6k last November helped propel the 'Cats to a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Division II East Region Championship.

Two weeks earlier, Tucci and the Panthers earned the runner-up trophy at the NE10 Championship -- the program's best finish since 2012.

In her final track and field season, Tucci medaled at NE10's for the first time in her career. She won silver in the 3,000-meter run on the indoor stage and claimed a bronze medal in the 10,000-meter run at the outdoor championship.
