Adelphi University Athletics

Nicholas Giampietro joins the Adelphi University cross country staff for his first season as an assistant coach in 2018.

Giampietro joined the Brown and Gold as a student-athlete ahead of the 2015 season, after transferring from SUNY Old Westbury. He featured on the cross country and track and field teams for three years, posting career bests in all three cross country distances in his senior season.

On the track, he posted four Top 10 finishes in the 2017-18 season, and helped the men's DMR finish third at the 2018 NYC Gotham Cup in a time of 11:27.77.

Giampietro graduated with a bachelor of science in history in December of 2017, and is pursuing his master's degree in education.
