2012: Led the Panthers in each race he competed in… placed 2^nd at the Riverhawk Invitational (9/15) in 25:41… ran a season best of 24:38 at Paul Short (9/28)… placed 6^th at the conference championship… booked his third trip to nationals by placing 4^th at the NCAA East Region with a personal best of 29:45 (11/4)… earned All-American honors with a 30h place finish at NCAA’s with a time of 30:10 (11/17).

2011: Competed and led his team in six races on the year...placed in the top-five on five occasions including a second place finish at the Codfish Bowl (9/24) with a time of 25:30 over 8k...placed fourth at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships (10/22) with a new personal best of 24:24 to earn All-Conference honors...was the NCAA Division II East Regional Runner up, covering the 10k course in 31:02 (11/6) for a new personal best...competed at the NCAA Division II National Championship meet (11/26) where he posted a time of 31:54 over a snow covered course to finish 29th overall and earn All-American Status.

2010: Ran and led his team in every meet during the year...placed in the top-five on six occasions including a win at the ESU meet (10/23)...ran a personal best over 8k at the NE-10 Championship (11/7) with a time of 24:57 to finish fifth and earn All-Conference honors...placed fourth at the NCAA Division II East Regional (11/21) and set a personal best over 10k, clocking in at 31:05 to earn All-Region status as well as a trip to the NCAA National meet in Louisville, Kentucky, where he placed 88th overall in a time of 32:31.

2009: Finished among the top-45 in all six of his races, highlighted by a 14th place finish at the NCAA regional, earning all-region honors with a 32:23 clocking over 10,000 meters...also earned all-conference honors with a 19th place finish at the Northeast-10 Championship (26:19)...posted his personal best over 8,000 meters at the Umass-Dartmouth Invitational with a time of 25:46, good enough for 36th overall.

At Wantagh High School: Four year member of the varsity cross-country/track & field team...all-division four times and all-county three times in cross-country...all-state cross-country runner as a senior...named all-division six times during track & field...cross-country MVP senior year and track & field MVP as a junior.

Personal: Son of Maria Isabel and Charles Coelho...majoring in exercise science...has two sisters, Vanessa and Melissa...Melissa was a member of the Adelphi cross-country/track & field team.
