Honors and Awards: Team captain...NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Spring '15)

2015: Made 21 appearances as a reliever…Posted a 1-0 record with a 4.50 ERA…Allowed 31 hits in 111 at bats…Struck out 22 batters and allowed 14 earned runs…Retired five batters in two scoreless innings in a 6-5 win over St. Thomas Aquinas (4/7)…Allowed no runs and recorded a season-best six strike outs through four innings in a loss to Saint Rose (5/2)…Pitched 1.1 innings and struck out one batter in his only win of the season, a 4-3 victory over Southern Connecticut State (4/1).

2014: Was a reliever in nine games…Tossed 7.1 innings while striking out seven…Struck out two in an inning of work against Franklin Pierce (3/22)…Pitched one inning the next day in a 2-1 win versus Southern New Hampshire (3/23) with one strikeout…Fanned two in one inning at Saint Rose (4/12).
 
2013: Made nine appearances out of the bullpen...Posted a 1-0 record and logged nine innings...Allowed 11 hits and struck out eight batters...Made collegiate debut in relief at nationally-ranked Barry (3/12)...Threw two shutout frames with three strikeouts against St. Anselm (3/23)...Picked up first collegiate win in 1.1 scoreless no-hit innings of relief against LIU Post (4/9).

2012: Missed season due to injury.

At Holy Trinity High School: Played three years of varsity baseball and two years of basketball...Two-time All-League NSCHSAA selection...Led team to NSCHSAA Championship as a junior, and was named MVP of Championship Series...A four-year honor roll student and member of Student Council.

Personal: Son of Richard Van Allen II and Patricia Brennan...Mother played basketball at Adelphi...Majoring in business management.
