2006: Made 14 appearances on the mound, including eight starts...posted a team-high five wins and an earned run average 4.84...second on the team in strike outs with 41 and third in innings pitched (48.1)...recorded his first career save in a 7-3 win over Palm Beach Atlantic (3/15)...struck out eight in seven innings pitched in 9-3 win over Queens on April 15.
2005: Made 13 starts on the mound in 14 games...recorded a 6-4 record with a 5.38 ERA...led team in strikeouts (52), wins (6), and innings pitched (72)...made first NCAA appearance on the mound in regional championship game vs. Franklin Pierce.
2004: Started all 12 games that he appeared in...compiled a .270 batting average and a .405 slugging percentage...drove in seven runs and scored five in 37 plate appeareances...also hit five doubles....made his first career start at third base against Regis University (3/01)...collected his first career hit against Mercyhurst (3/06)...made nine appearances on the mound, including six starts...compiled a 4.58 era with a 2-3 record...struck out 22 in 39.1 innings pitched...pitched one complete game...made his first appearance on the mound against Nyack (3/29) pitching three innings and striking out two.
At Kellenberg Memorial: Captain and team MVP freshman year...member of 2000 National Championship baseball team, Old Westbury Wolves, MVP of National Championship tournament...all-league and all-academic team junior year...team MVP and captain senior year...all academic team and all-long island selection senior year...member of National Honor Society.
Personal: Son of Edward and Gail Myers...major is currently undecided...born on October 24, 1985...sister, Christine, attends St. John[apos]s University where she is a member of the swim team.
