After a successful stretch as Adelphi's starting right-fielder, Tim Feliz will now come aboard as an assistant coach in 2024.

Feliz's instruction his first year helped bring about a .280 average (second-best in NE10 Southwest Division) for the team. A 10-homer, 50-RBI season for Joe Pellegrino led the effort, resulting in an NE10 Southwest Division Player of the Year selection for the slugger.

A lifetime .300 hitter from 2019-23, Feliz posted his best career numbers in the post-COVID 2021 campaign that saw the 'Cats reach the NE10 Championship for the first time since 2014.

Feliz slugged a career-high five home runs and 27 RBIs, en route to earning selection to the NE10 All-Conference First Team and NCBWA All-Region Second Team.

His offensive tear carried into 2022, when he batted .339 with 11 RBIs through his first fifteen games, until an injury sidelined him.

Defensively, the right-fielder built himself up as one of the toughest gloves to run against in the NE10 and East Region.

Feliz originally hails from Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.
