Mike Myers is entering his second season as an assistant coach with the Adelphi baseball program.
Myers, a four-year member of the Adelphi baseball team wrapped up an outstanding career with a standout senior season in 2007. Myers posted an unblemished record of 10-0 as a senior, earning All-America, All-Region and All-ECC honors. He was also named the Daktronics Northeast Region Pitcher of the Year and the ECC Pitcher of the Year.
In addition to his stellar senior year Myers had three other strong years and has left his fingerprints all over the Adelphi record books. Myers is top in career wins (23), third in career strikeouts (186) and fourth in career innings pitched (233.1). He is also in the top-10 in two other career categories (appearances and complete games), and is in the top-10 on three single season lists, complete games, strikeouts and innings pitched.
Myers also excelled in the classroom, graduating in May of 2007 with a degree in business management and earning 2007 ECC baseball Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors.
